I know how a lot of you feel about dragons... when they attack you they seek out your AD and when you use them they avoid it like the plague.
Some things I've read talk about using your storages as buffers from the dragons. Storages generally have the highest amount of hit points and since dragons attack any target in range, you place your storages between your outer wall and the AD. You also want to insulate AD as much as possible. What I mean by that is don't have your AD next to your outer wall. Try and put as many things as possible between that outer wall and AD. Again, dragons attack any target, to make it though a dragon attack, you want those AD to get as many shots in as possible before they're taken out.
